Hyderabad: Aghori alias Srinivas, who has been lodged in Chanchalguda Jail for the past 43 days, continues to remain in custody despite being granted bail in the Mokila and Komuravelli cases. Bail is yet to be secured in a separate case filed by her first wife, Radhika.
During an interaction with an RTV team inside the prison, Aghori broke down in tears and shared her emotional and spiritual journey behind bars. She said she is continuing her religious practices, including rituals aligned with Sanatana Dharma, within the jail premises. Detailing her routine, Aghori said she wakes up early, bathes, and performs special pujas to Goddess Kali and Lord Shiva twice a day. Though there are no idols, she stated that she envisions the deities during worship and even performs symbolic abhishekam with blood.

She described her unwavering commitment to Sanatana Dharma and said she is willing to endure any hardship in its service. According to prison sources, she is currently held in a special women’s block and is being provided regular meals. Fellow inmates are said to address her affectionately as “Amma.”
Aghori also expressed concern for Sri Varshini, inquiring about her well-being and requesting that any updates be conveyed if she is located. In an emotional moment, she revealed that her parents lack the financial means to secure her bail and would need to sell their only livelihood—two cows—to do so.
“I cannot burden them with that. I have left everything in the hands of Lord Shiva and Goddess Kali. I am prepared to die for Sanatana Dharma,” she told the RTV team.
