Hyderabad: A significant fire broke out at the State Bank of India (SBI) branch located at Patny Center in Secunderabad on Sunday. Preliminary reports indicate that the fire originated on the fifth floor of the building due to a suspected short circuit.
The blaze led to heavy flames, resulting in the destruction of several critical documents and files within the bank premises. Alerted by the smoke and fire, local residents immediately informed the police and fire services. Firefighters swiftly reached the scene and initiated firefighting operations to bring the situation under control.
As of now, there are no reports of casualties. Authorities have cordoned off the area and are investigating the cause of the fire. Further details are awaited.
