Hyderabad: The ongoing investigation into the Aghori case has taken a significant turn, with the accused, identified as Aghori alias Srinivas, making key disclosures during two days of police interrogation. The probe has reportedly uncovered fresh leads regarding financial sources, high-value possessions, and suspected political and business connections.
According to sources, police questioned the accused on multiple aspects, including the origin of his funds, ownership of the vehicle he used, and details about individuals providing financial assistance. Investigators are also probing whether political figures are backing him and how he is managing expenses for items such as fuel and high-end mobile phones.

Preliminary findings indicate that the vehicle used by Aghori is registered to a businessman from Tamil Nadu. The car carries a Tamil Nadu registration and is said to be linked to an individual closely associated with the accused. Investigators suspect that multiple persons may be involved, with reports suggesting that the group was in talks over business deals. These developments have sparked widespread attention and speculation.
Judicial Custody Extended
Following the conclusion of his police custody at Mokila Police Station, Aghori was produced before the Shadnagar Court on Thursday. The court extended his judicial remand by 14 days, ordering his transfer back to Chanchalguda Central Prison.
The case continues to draw public and media scrutiny, as authorities intensify efforts to trace the full extent of the alleged network behind the accused.
