71st National Film Awards: Bhagavanth Kesari Wins Best Telugu Film

The 71st National Film Awards for 2023 have been announced, honoring the best of Indian cinema released last year. Telugu cinema shone at the awards with Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari winning Best National Film and lyricist Kasarla Shyam receiving the Best Lyricist Award for the song Ooru Palleturu from Balagam. Vikrant Massey (12th Fail) and Shah Rukh Khan (Jawan) jointly won Best Actor, while Rani Mukerji was named Best Actress for Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.
