A serious incident was reported from the sets of Ranveer Singh’s upcoming film Dhurandhar in Leh district of Ladakh, where over 120 crew members were hospitalized following food poisoning. According to officials, nearly 600 people were served dinner during the shoot, after which several began to complain of vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and dehydration. The affected members were rushed to nearby hospitals for immediate treatment. Authorities confirmed there were no casualties, and food samples have been collected for testing. Doctors stated that some patients suffered from severe dehydration and gastroenteritis.

Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is an action-packed spy thriller inspired by real-life covert operations of India’s intelligence agency RAW during the 1970s and 1980s. Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Akshaye Khanna in key roles. Singh is set to portray a gangster in the movie.
The film’s first-look teaser, released on Ranveer Singh’s birthday on July 6, 2025, has already created high expectations among audiences. Dhurandhar is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on December 5, 2025.
