In a major boost for job aspirants in Telangana, Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) Chairman Burra Venkatesham has announced a series of reforms aimed at speeding up recruitment while ensuring transparency and accuracy in the selection process. He said the commission is introducing a new system to complete recruitments swiftly without any errors.
The TGPSC has received approval to fill 3,800 vacancies across various departments. Of these, 3,093 posts are in the Forest Department, while several other departments have single-post vacancies, totaling around 25 positions. Burra Venkatesham stated that aspirants will no longer have to wait for years for recruitment notifications, as the commission plans to issue an average of three notifications every month. He also announced that three new recruitment notifications will be released on Tuesday.
The TGPSC chairman said the commission aims to complete the entire recruitment process for every notification within a maximum period of one year. To eliminate concerns over question paper leaks and enhance efficiency, all future TGPSC examinations will be conducted through computer-based online tests. With the shift from printed question papers to a digital examination system, the possibility of paper leaks will be significantly reduced.
He further indicated that the commission is exploring new technology that would enable candidates to know the number of correct answers they marked immediately after submitting their examinations. The initiative is expected to improve transparency and build confidence among applicants.
Burra Venkatesham also urged candidates to be realistic about recruitment outcomes, noting that only a small percentage of applicants ultimately secure government jobs. He said disappointed candidates sometimes spread misinformation about the commission and appealed to aspirants not to believe rumors or false campaigns.
The latest reforms and recruitment plans announced by TGPSC are expected to generate fresh optimism among unemployed youth in Telangana, with the commission emphasizing speed, transparency, and technology-driven recruitment processes.
