Hyderabad: The Telangana Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, convened at the Secretariat on Saturday, approving a series of significant initiatives aimed at economic and social development across the state. Among the approved measures, the Cabinet sanctioned a ₹500 bonus for thin rice farmers, greenlit the Osmania Hospital construction project, and approved land transfers for the Goshamahal Police Grounds. Expansion of the Hanumakonda and Warangal district boundaries was also ratified.
Affordable Land Allocation
The Cabinet authorized the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) to recruit 54 positions within the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). Additionally, land at concessional rates was allocated for the Sammakka-Saralamma University in Mulugu, while Madnur mandal center was upgraded to municipality status. The establishment of a new revenue division in Eturu Nagaram also received approval.
Review of Farmer Loan Waivers and Raithu Bharosa Program
In a comprehensive review of the Congress election manifesto, the Cabinet assessed the implementation status of pledges made since coming to power, and ministers discussed steps required to fulfill remaining commitments. The discussion included loan waivers and the Raithu Bharosa program, with CM Revanth Reddy urging swift action to resolve technical delays affecting farmers and ensuring timely support.
