The film collected an unprecedented Rs 294 crore globally on its opening day, officially surpassing the Rs 223 crore record previously held by RRR. The makers confirmed this milestone, making Pushpa 2 the highest-grossing Indian film on day one.

A major portion of the collections came from the Telugu states, followed by Bollywood markets. In the U.S. alone, the film grossed approximately Rs 35 crore.
