Actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has undergone a surgical procedure following recent health concerns, with doctors advising immediate medical intervention due to persistent respiratory issues. The development comes after he reportedly experienced breathing difficulties over the past few months, prompting medical consultations and treatment.
On April 17, Pawan Kalyan reportedly fell ill during an official meeting with government officials. Following the sudden discomfort, all scheduled engagements were cancelled, and he was shifted to Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad for further evaluation. Hospital authorities conducted a series of medical examinations, including an MRI scan, to assess his condition.
Based on the diagnostic reports, doctors recommended immediate surgery to address complications linked to sinus-related health issues that had been affecting his breathing. The procedure was carried out on Saturday evening and was reported to have been completed successfully without complications.
Post-surgery, medical officials confirmed that Pawan Kalyan’s condition is currently stable. He has been advised complete rest for a period of seven to ten days, following which he may gradually resume official duties. Doctors have also recommended long-term lifestyle and health precautions to prevent recurrence of the condition.
Following the news, several political leaders expressed concern and extended wishes for his speedy recovery. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh conveyed their support and wished him a quick return to full health. Family members, including his wife Anna Lezhneva, also shared updates stating that he is recovering well, while actor and nephew Sai Dharam Tej wished him a speedy recovery.
Jana Sena Party leaders and supporters have expressed relief over the successful surgery, noting that his health is important for his continued public service. Party sources stated that Pawan Kalyan is expected to take rest as advised before resuming his political and official responsibilities. His recovery has brought reassurance to both political circles and fans, who are hoping for his swift return to active duties.
