Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K. Chandrashekar Rao held a key strategy meeting with senior party leaders at the Erravalli farmhouse, focusing on strengthening the party’s organisational structure ahead of upcoming elections. The meeting primarily reviewed membership drive progress, appointment of party in-charges, and cadre mobilisation across Telangana.
During the meeting, KCR issued a strong warning that non-performing leaders would not be considered for election tickets in the future. He stressed the importance of staying continuously active among the public and directed leaders to intensify efforts in highlighting what he described as the failures of the government.
The BRS chief also outlined a future action plan aimed at exposing alleged government inefficiencies and issues related to corruption, while preparing a structured campaign around unfulfilled election promises. He instructed party leaders to maintain a consistent presence in public forums and strengthen grassroots outreach.
Organisational matters, including party meetings, public gatherings, and coordination at district and urban levels, were also reviewed in detail. KCR provided specific guidance on electoral strategies for Zilla Parishad and Greater Hyderabad municipal corporation elections, emphasizing early preparedness and targeted voter outreach.
The meeting also covered broader political developments, including the Bharatiya Janata Party’s growing focus on Telangana and the recent election outcomes in five states. KCR reportedly advised leaders to closely monitor political trends and intensify preparations for the forthcoming local body elections to strengthen the party’s position at the ground level.
