Armoor BJP MLA Paidi Rakesh Reddy has accused the Congress party and its allies of corruption, alleging that Delhi Congress leaders received suitcases of funds from Megha Krishna Reddy. He questioned why Congress, which had previously addressed issues of corruption related to the Kaleshwaram project, remained silent on the matter this time.
Rakesh Reddy highlighted past comments by Revanth Reddy about Danam Nagender, alleging that Revanth Reddy had previously criticized Nagender for selling beedis but now accepted him as part of the Congress fold. He also criticized Revanth Reddy for derogatory remarks about Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and his sons, questioning their sudden acceptance into the party.
In an exclusive interview with RTV, Rakesh Reddy expressed his belief that the people of Telangana are prepared to defend democracy against such political manoeuvring.
