Medchal MLA and former minister Malla Reddy has once again stirred controversy with his recent remarks. Speaking informally with media personnel in the assembly lobby, Malla Reddy stated, “If the BRS had won for the third time, I would have been at a different level. I would have become the Home Minister. Additionally, I used to produce four films a year, and a new satellite channel would have been established.” He further added that now, the position of Home Minister is held by CM Revanth Reddy.
Malla Reddy declared himself the number one institution in the country, noting his limited involvement in the assembly. He mentioned that even the ruling party has not provoked him, which is why he has remained silent. However, Malla Reddy asserted his readiness to respond if attacked, praising the newly elected MLAs for their commendable speeches.
Malla Reddy emphasized the need to increase the number of young members in the assembly. Addressing the recent I-T raids on his residence, he claimed that nothing was found and that the officials were shocked. He also commented on the dissatisfaction of MLAs who left the BRS for Congress, expressing hope that they would eventually return.
