Hyderabad: After BRS leader Harish Rao left for Hyderabad, MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy, along with RS Praveen Kumar, addressed the media. Kaushik Reddy accused MLA Arekapudi Gandhi of attempting to kill him by orchestrating an attack on his house. He expressed outrage that the police provided an escort for Gandhi while he carried out the attack. Kaushik also alleged that TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy was behind the incident, claiming that Revanth ordered the attack.
Kaushik Reddy warned that the BRS would not remain silent if further attacks were made. He vowed to continue fighting until the BRS flag flies high across Telangana. He accused Congress of initiating another movement in the state and declared that while Congress may have started it, the BRS would finish it.
Kaushik revealed that the police had filed a case against him, questioning what wrongdoing he had committed. He accused the police of fabricating false cases against him to silence him. He promised a strong reaction against Arekapudi Gandhi, stating that the BRS would continue its fight for justice until it prevailed.
Kaushik further alleged that Congress goons, under Gandhi’s leadership, attacked his house and tried to kill him, all under the Chief Minister’s supervision. He claimed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had meticulously planned the attack. RS Praveen Kumar echoed these sentiments, questioning why the Cyberabad police did not allow peaceful leaders like Harish Rao to file complaints, asking whether only certain complaints were being accepted.
