Chasing a formidable target of 244, Gujarat Titans fell short despite strong performances from Sai Sudharsan (74 off 40) and Jos Buttler (54 off 32), finishing at 232/5 in 20 overs.
Batting first after losing the toss, Punjab Kings posted an imposing total of 243/5 in their 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer led the charge with a blistering 97 off 42 deliveries, anchoring the innings with aggressive stroke play. Priyansh Arya (47 off 23) provided crucial support, while Marcus Stoinis (20 off 15), Azmatullah Omarzai (16 off 15), and Prabhsimran Singh (5 off 8) contributed. Glenn Maxwell departed for a duck, failing to make an impact.
Despite a determined chase, Gujarat Titans struggled under pressure in the final overs, handing Punjab Kings a crucial win.
