Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar has reacted strongly to the ongoing POCSO case involving his son Bandi Bhagirath, stating that if his son is found guilty, he must face punishment as per the law. He emphasized that he fully respects the judiciary and will abide by whatever verdict is delivered by the court.
Speaking on the issue, Bandi Sanjay said that he has dedicated most of his time to public service and has been unable to focus on his family. He noted that attempts are being made to project his son in a negative light and clarified that he is not defending or supporting him, insisting that the matter should be decided strictly through legal scrutiny.
The Union Minister further stated that his son has denied the allegations and maintains his innocence. He reiterated that he stands firmly by the rule of law and will accept the court’s decision without question, adding that legal procedures must take their due course without interference.
Bandi Sanjay also alleged that his family is being subjected to political targeting. He asserted that despite the situation, he will continue his public responsibilities and work for party cadres, while warning that those attempting to target him, his family, and supporters will face political consequences.
