Hyderabad: In a decisive move, Hydraa has initiated the demolition of the N-Convention Center owned by actor Nagarjuna in Madhapur. Officials from Hydraa have confirmed that the center has encroached upon three and a half acres of lake land. The N-Convention Center is reportedly located within the Full Tank Level (FTL) and buffer zone of the Thammidihaddi lake, which covers a total area of 29 acres and 24 guntas.
This action follows a recent complaint filed with Hydraa Commissioner Ranganath by Kasireddy Bhaskar Reddy, President of the Jana Kosam organization, regarding the encroachments. In response to the complaint, Hydraa officials have proceeded with the demolition of the N-Convention Center.
Earlier, Hydraa authorities had also demolished apartments constructed within the boundaries of the Bachupalli Errakunta lake. The lake, situated in survey number 134 of Pragatinagar-Bachupalli, originally spanned 3 acres. The encroached land was used by Maps Construction to build an apartment on 1300 square yards. Following an inspection, Commissioner Ranganath ordered the demolition of the illegal structures, which were subsequently leveled.
