Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar became emotional while recalling his mother in a social media post. He said that although political and public life involve numerous challenges and confrontations, the pain is far more severe when it affects one’s family, particularly a mother. Reflecting on recent events, Sanjay stated that the past month had made him realize that nothing is more important than having one’s mother safe and healthy. He revealed that his mother recently suffered a stroke, and witnessing her condition left him deeply distressed.

Sanjay shared his thoughts while participating in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, under which he planted a sapling at his residence. Recalling the occasion, he said the act brought back a wave of emotions, describing the sapling as a symbol of his love, gratitude, and respect for his mother. He said he could never fully express her value in words and hoped the plant would grow strong and enduring, reflecting the love, sacrifice, and resilience she has shown throughout her life.
