The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results have been officially released in Andhra Pradesh, with Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh announcing the results on Thursday morning; a total of 6,18,131 students appeared for the examinations this year, recording an overall pass percentage of 85.25%, reflecting a notable improvement over last year’s 81.14%.
Girls once again outperformed boys, registering a pass percentage of 87.90% compared to 82.68% for boys, highlighting a consistent academic edge. Students from 12,089 schools appeared for the examinations conducted across the state.
District-wise performance showed Parvathipuram Manyam emerging as the top-performing district with 96.07% pass results, while Alluri Sitarama Raju district recorded the lowest pass percentage at 57.02%. In addition, 2,161 schools achieved a 100% pass result, marking a strong academic performance across multiple regions.
Government schools also demonstrated significant improvement, with pass rates rising from 72.8% last year to 78.39% this year, indicating better learning outcomes and implementation of academic reforms in the public education system.
Students can access their results through the official website [www.results.bse.ap.gov.in](http://www.results.bse.ap.gov.in), via WhatsApp by sending “Hi” to 9552300009 under the ‘Mana Mitra’ service, or through mobile applications such as LEAP and DigiLocker, while Minister Lokesh congratulated successful candidates and urged unsuccessful students to prepare confidently for supplementary examinations scheduled from May 25 to June 4.
