The Andhra Pradesh Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) notification has been delayed. Originally scheduled for release on November 6, the announcement has now been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. The notification was expected to be issued on November 3, but was delayed due to the absence of Education Minister Nara Lokesh, who was on an official overseas trip. Education department officials had previously indicated that the notification would be slightly delayed.

On November 4, the online TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) results were announced, and it was confirmed by the Department of School Education that the DSC notification would be released within two days. However, due to the latest developments, the Mega DSC notification has not been issued as expected on Wednesday, and there is no clear timeline for its release.

The MRPS (Mala Mahanadu) has raised objections to the implementation of reservations in government jobs, demanding a delay in recruitment until the SC categorization issue is resolved. The organization has called for no new notifications to be issued until the Supreme Court’s ruling on SC categorization is fully implemented.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu met with Mandakrishna on Tuesday to discuss various aspects of reservation implementation. Sources within the Education Department have stated that the delay in the DSC notification is due to unresolved issues regarding the implementation of SC reservations in the recruitment process, which requires a decision at the Chief Ministerial level. Clarity on the notification is expected to follow once a decision is made on age relaxations and reservation matters.
