The presence and statements of a female Aghori have become a hot topic in the two Telugu states, with her recent visits to temples in Andhra Pradesh drawing significant attention. Having moved from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh, the Aghori has been actively engaging with the media. She recently revealed that her actions would intensify after the Kumbh Mela, and made bold statements during her visits. In a public address in Chaitanyapur, Hyderabad, she warned of a potential “Tandav” if those responsible for attacks on Hindu temples, women, and cows are not punished.
Karthika Pournami Rituals at Cremation Ground and Temple Visit
On the occasion of Karthika Pournami, the Aghori performed rituals at a cremation ground in Warangal. She then proceeded on foot to the Bhadrakali Temple, where she offered prayers. The Aghori clarified that her prayers were focused on the prevention of crimes like rape and cow slaughter. She also emphasized her commitment to the protection of world welfare and Sanatan Dharma.
However, the Aghori expressed frustration, claiming that the police were preventing her from performing her rituals. During her ritual, a large crowd gathered to observe her actions.
Controversial Comments on Attacks Against Temples and Women
The Aghori made controversial remarks, stating that she would sever the private parts of those attacking Hindu temples and women. She called for unity in protecting Sanatan Dharma, urging people to safeguard women, halt cow slaughter, and preserve nature, as instructed by her guru. She also vowed to continue fighting for these causes.
Additionally, the Aghori claimed that since issuing her warning, six temples have been destroyed in the state, and accused the Revanth Reddy government of inaction in preventing these attacks. She challenged authorities to stop her actions, urging people to come together to protect the temples.
