Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu visited Markapuram today, where he reiterated his commitment to granting district status to the region. Addressing the gathering, he stated that the promise made during the elections would be fulfilled and assured that Markapuram would be designated as a district headquarters. During his visit, CM Chandrababu participated in the International Women’s Day celebrations held in Markapuram. He was accorded a grand welcome by officials, public representatives, and residents, including women. As part of the event, he visited stalls set up by DWCRA women and lauded their entrepreneurial efforts and self-reliance.
