New Delhi: The issue surrounding the Yamuna River’s polluted water has become a major political talking point. AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal accused the BJP of releasing harmful chemicals into the river from Haryana, alleging that the party had conducted “poisonous experiments.” Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini strongly rejected the allegations, even drinking the river water in a symbolic gesture to prove its safety. The matter has escalated to the Election Commission, which has issued notices to both parties involved.
