Huzurabad BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy has been granted bail in three cases, providing him with significant relief. The Second Additional Junior Civil Judge of Karimnagar, Premalatha, overturned the remand report filed against Reddy and ordered that he provide three sureties of Rs. 10,000 each.
Upon his release, Kaushik Reddy refrained from commenting to the media, wishing everyone a happy Sankranti and stating he would provide further details after reaching Hyderabad. However, during his transfer to court, he spoke to the media, emphasizing that he would continue to challenge the Congress party’s unfulfilled promises and would not be intimidated by any cases filed against him. He alleged that the ruling party was attempting to intimidate him by filing cases with the support of “bought” MLAs.

Following his arrest, the police conducted several preemptive arrests of BRS leaders in Huzurnagar. Key leaders, including KTR and Harish Rao, were placed under house arrest in Gachibowli and Kokapet, respectively.
Kaushik Reddy’s arrest came after a verbal altercation with Jagityala MLA Sanjay during a government event in Karimnagar Collectorate. Based on Sanjay’s complaint, police arrested Reddy in Jubilee Hills and transferred him to Karimnagar, despite his resistance.
A total of five cases have been filed against Kaushik Reddy, with three in Karimnagar One Town and two in Three Town Police Station. The police have confirmed to the BRS legal team that Reddy faces charges under 12 sections.
