New Delhi: Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh passed away on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Delhi. The 91-year-old leader had been battling respiratory complications and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, his condition deteriorated, and he succumbed earlier today.
Manmohan Singh served as India’s Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, a decade marked by significant economic growth. Known for his instrumental role in the economic reforms initiated during the tenure of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, Singh’s contributions shaped modern India’s financial trajectory.
