Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun, released from Chanchalguda Jail on Saturday, expressed his emotions and gratitude while addressing the media. Referring to the tragic stampede at Sandhya Theatre, which claimed the life of a woman and injured her son, he termed the incident “unfortunate and unexpected.”
“I thank all my fans and supporters who stood by me during this time. I’m fine, and there is no need for anyone to worry. I have immense respect for the law. My deepest condolences go to Revathi’s family. No action can undo the damage caused by this tragedy. I have been visiting Sandhya Theatre for 20 years, and such an incident has never occurred before. I will follow the legal process as required,” he said.
Emotional Reunion with Family
After his release, Allu Arjun returned home, where an emotional reunion took place. His wife, Sneha Reddy, and children greeted him, with Sneha visibly moved and embracing him in tears.
Legal Discussions at Geetha Arts Office
Instead of heading directly home, Allu Arjun visited the Geetha Arts office, sparking discussions about his decision. At the office, he reportedly shared his dissatisfaction with the procedural delays that caused his release to be postponed despite bail being granted earlier. He expressed frustration over being jailed for what he claimed was no fault of his own, telling close associates, “I spent a sleepless night in jail for no reason.”

Sources revealed that the actor is considering filing a contempt of court petition against jail authorities for delaying his release. Allu Arjun has instructed his legal team to pursue the matter thoroughly. Speaking to his father, Allu Aravind, he reportedly stated, “I have already faced jail once and am prepared to go again if needed
