AP Police Recruitment Board has announced the resumption of the recruitment process for pending constable posts, according to an official statement from Acting Chairman A.K. Ravikrishna. The physical tests are scheduled for the last week of December 2024.
Another Opportunity for Candidates
In 2022, the YSRCP government released a notification to fill 6,100 constable positions. A preliminary exam was conducted in January 2024, with 459,182 candidates appearing and 95,208 qualifying. However, only 91,507 candidates applied online for the physical test. Due to several delays, the recruitment process was paused. Now, the coalition government has taken steps to resume it, offering an additional chance for candidates who missed the initial application for the physical test. Applications can be submitted online on the slrb.ap.gov.in website from 3 p.m. on November 11 to 5 p.m. on November 21.
