Switzerland has been named the best country in the world for the third consecutive year, according to the 2024 Best Countries ranking released by *US News and World Report*.
Though small in size, Switzerland offers a high quality of life and is recognized for being one of the most comfortable places to live. The rankings are determined by various factors such as adventure, heritage, business opportunities, quality of life, culture, and traditions. This year’s list ranked 89 countries, with Switzerland taking the top spot, marking the seventh time it has achieved this honor.
Japan secured second place, followed by the US, Canada, and Australia. India, meanwhile, ranked 33rd, dropping three places from last year. In Asia, only Japan, Singapore, China, and South Korea made it into the top 25.
