In Tihar Jail, Delhi CM Kejriwal’s health concerns have been voiced by Minister Atishi. She highlighted the heightened risk of stroke for individuals with diabetes. “I am deeply concerned about Kejriwal’s health. Observing his significant weight loss, there is a fear he may slip into a coma,” she stated. She reassured that his health remains stable. Atishi criticized Tihar jail authorities for allegedly releasing BJP documents and accused the BJP of endangering the CM’s health.
However, Tihar authorities have denied these claims. Kejriwal’s health is closely monitored by the AIIMS medical board, as reported to Delhi government’s home department. It was reported that he lost only 2 kilograms during his time in jail. The report clarified that his vital signs are stable and he continues to receive regular medical care and home-cooked meals.
