He claimed that divisions have emerged within Iran’s political leadership and military establishment.
Netanyahu further expressed confidence that the United States and Israel would emerge victorious in the conflict, warning that Iran faces the risk of complete destruction. He outlined three primary objectives behind the ongoing military operation: eliminating the nuclear threat posed by Iran, dismantling its military capabilities, and ensuring greater freedom for its citizens. He emphasized that Israeli strikes have significantly damaged Iran’s missile stockpiles and related production infrastructure.
Rejecting allegations that Israel had drawn the United States into the war, Netanyahu stated that Donald Trump acts in accordance with American interests. He noted that the conflict has so far been limited to aerial attacks. Meanwhile, he accused Iran of attempting to threaten global stability by seeking to close the Strait of Hormuz, but maintained that such efforts would not succeed.
