The war between Iran and Israel continues to claim civilian lives, with a deadly attack in southern Iran highlighting the human cost of the conflict. In Minab city, bombs struck a girls’ school, killing 24 students instantly. These are the first major civilian fatalities recorded on Iranian soil in the ongoing hostilities.
The attack was initially aimed at a Revolutionary Guards base in Minab, but several bombs fell on the adjacent school, tragically killing young students. In response to the incident, U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged the Iranian people to rise against their government and shape their own future.
Bombs also hit areas near the office of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, leaving Tehran enveloped in dense smoke. In retaliation, Iran launched counterstrikes on U.S. military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, declaring the operations necessary “to defend our country.”
The escalating conflict has prompted neighboring nations, including Iraq and the UAE, to close their airspace. The violence continues to exacerbate regional instability, with civilians increasingly caught in the crossfire as both sides intensify their military actions.
