The Formula E car racing case has created significant controversy in Telangana. IAS officer Arvind Kumar, named as an accused in the matter, has been suspended by the Revanth Reddy government. The central government has granted permission to prosecute him. Allegations against Arvind Kumar include corruption, misuse of authority, and negligence in official duties. His suspension will remain in effect until the investigation is completed.
In the same case, former minister KTR recently received gubernatorial permission for prosecution. Former Chief Engineer BLN Reddy, also facing allegations, has been cleared for prosecution by the state government’s principal secretary. BLN Reddy has already retired from his post. These developments mark a significant step in the ongoing investigation into the Formula E controversy.
