Tech billionaire Elon Musk, known for his sharp wit, sparked laughter and debate at the World Economic Forum in Davos with sarcastic remarks aimed at US President Donald Trump’s proposed “Board of Peace.” Speaking during a public interaction, Musk questioned whether the initiative represented “peace” or merely another “piece,” making a wordplay reference to territories such as Greenland and Venezuela. His comments drew a strong reaction from the audience and quickly gained attention.
Musk has previously been a close ally of Trump, offering support during the presidential campaign and after Trump assumed office. He was widely seen as a key influence in Trump’s electoral success and later held significant responsibilities within the administration, including overseeing the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). However, Musk exited the Trump administration within months and has since been openly critical of Trump’s policies. Despite reports of cordial ties between the two, Musk has continued to publicly question Trump’s foreign policy decisions, including the Gaza peace initiative.

He announced that Tesla plans to begin selling its Optimus humanoid robots to the public by the end of 2027, highlighting their potential use in elderly care and household assistance.
Musk also made bold projections about artificial intelligence, stating that AI could surpass individual human intelligence by the end of 2026 and exceed the collective intellectual capacity of humanity by 2030.
