The disruption in IndiGo flight services continues to persist, severely affecting air travel schedules at Hyderabad’s Shamshabad Airport. On Tuesday alone, 14 flights scheduled to arrive in the city and 44 flights planned for departure were cancelled, causing widespread inconvenience to hundreds of passengers. In addition, six IndiGo services operating from Visakhapatnam to Bengaluru and Hyderabad were also suspended due to the ongoing operational crisis.

In view of the large-scale cancellations, authorities and travel operators have initiated alternative arrangements to support stranded travellers. SpiceJet has stepped in by deploying 100 additional flights across the country to ease travel congestion and accommodate affected passengers.

Further extending travel support, Indian Railways and Telangana RTC have launched special services in high-demand routes. Special trains are currently running from Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Howrah to Hyderabad, while special buses have been arranged to key destinations including Chennai, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Rajamahendravaram, Kakinada, Visakhapatnam and other regions to ensure uninterrupted passenger connectivity amid the aviation crisis.
