The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has announced that Namo Bharat train coaches can now be rented for private events, including weddings, birthday celebrations, and photoshoots. Individuals, event organizers, and photography companies can book coaches at stations or on moving trains along the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh corridor. A sample decorated coach will be available at the Duhai depot for reference. Booking charges have been set at Rs. 5,000 per hour, with an additional 30 minutes provided for decoration setup. The service will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
NCRTC has laid down strict guidelines for the service. Events must not disrupt normal train operations or inconvenience passengers, and all activities will be conducted under the supervision of NCRTC staff and security personnel. The facility will initially be available at Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut South stations, where it is expected to attract considerable interest from the public.
Apart from private celebrations, Namo Bharat trains and stations will also be available for film shoots, advertisements, and documentaries under a designated procedure. The central government plans to expand the service to additional regions in the future, enabling wider access to private event facilities on Namo Bharat trains across India.
