Following the BRS’s defeat in the Jubilee Hills by-election, BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) met party chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) at Erravalli Farmhouse. The meeting focused on analyzing the reasons behind the loss and discussing future party strategies. Sources indicate that KTR briefed KCR on post-election developments and sought guidance on addressing challenges highlighted by the defeat.
During the discussion, KTR also brought to KCR’s attention recent remarks made by Jagriti president Kalvakuntla Kavitha concerning him and Harish Rao. Reports suggest that the issue was taken seriously, although neither KTR nor Harish Rao publicly responded to Kavitha’s comments prior to the meeting.
In the aftermath of the by-election, KTR is scheduled to hold a review meeting with BRS cadres at Telangana Bhavan on Tuesday to boost morale and assess ground-level concerns. Party sources indicate that the meeting aims to energize disappointed cadres and reinforce organizational strategy. KTR has also announced plans to tour districts across the state in the coming days to engage with grassroots workers and address public issues. Meanwhile, the BRS has resolved to intensify its opposition against perceived failures of the Congress government.
