Eluru: A tragic road accident occurred in Eluru district on Monday when a Hyderabad-bound Bharati Travels bus overturned near Jubilee Nagar in Lingapalem mandal. The incident left one passenger dead and several others injured.
According to reports, the private bus was carrying about 50 passengers when it lost control and overturned, barely 20 minutes after departing from Eluru. Police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. Authorities said the condition of some passengers remains critical and that the death toll could rise. An investigation has been launched to ascertain the cause of the mishap.
