Buoyed by the film’s success, director Sujeeth and music composer Thaman recently visited Dallas, where they watched OG in a packed theatre with fans, celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony, and interacted with the audience. During the session, Sujeeth confirmed that both a prequel and a sequel to OG are in development. When asked whether Pawan Kalyan’s son Akira Nandan would appear in the prequel, Sujeeth declined to reveal details, saying it was too early to spoil the thrill, but hinted at a surprise in the future. His comments have sparked excitement among fans, many of whom are already speculating about Akira’s involvement.

Pawan Kalyan had earlier confirmed plans for expanding the OG franchise with both a prequel and a sequel during the film’s success meet in Hyderabad. However, these projects may take time to take shape as Sujeeth is next set to direct a film starring Nani. The filmmaker clarified that this upcoming project will not be part of the OG universe and will follow the tone of his debut film Run Raja Run. Once the Nani project is completed, production on the OG prequel or sequel is expected to commence, promising an exciting future for the franchise.
