Tirumala: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the cancellation of Break Darshan on July 15 and 16, 2025, in view of key religious events at the Srivari temple. According to an official release, the temple will host the Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam on July 15 and the Anivara Asthanam on July 16. As a result, all Break Darshan slots on these dates have been withdrawn.

The TTD also stated that recommendation letters for darshan on July 14 and 15 will be accepted only from protocol dignitaries. Devotees have been requested to take note of these changes and cooperate with temple authorities accordingly.

EO Directs Timely Completion of Infrastructure Projects

TTD Executive Officer Shyamala Rao conducted a review meeting at the administrative building, along with Additional EO Venkatiah Chowdary, to assess the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects aimed at improving facilities for devotees. The EO instructed engineering officials to ensure that all construction works are completed within the stipulated timelines and called for regular monitoring and reporting to avoid delays.

He also directed officials to strengthen measures against the activities of middlemen, the sale of fake tickets, and any form of corruption in service ticket allocations. Emphasising improved security and pilgrim services, the EO called for the expansion of the checking point at Alipiri Toll Plaza, the installation of advanced surveillance systems, vehicle and luggage scanners, and an overall security upgrade.

TTD engineering, security, and IT officials have been asked to study international airport models and submit a comprehensive report for implementing similar facilities in Tirumala.
