Visakhapatnam: A disturbing incident has come to light in Visakhapatnam where a gang operating under the guise of a “marriage bureau” has been allegedly blackmailing young women by filming explicit videos. The matter came to public attention after a victim filed a complaint, leading to the registration of a case at the Fourth Town Police Station.
According to the victim, the accused gang filmed videos of nearly 30 young women. She shared the conversation with the accused on social media as evidence. The gang reportedly operated under the names of a marriage bureau, herbal products, and two-wheeler ride apps, collecting personal details of unmarried women. The accused would then build a false relationship, luring the women into a trap.

In a disturbing turn, the gang allegedly spiked drinks with intoxicants, and once the women lost consciousness, they were sexually assaulted and recorded. The gang reportedly threatened to post the explicit videos on pornographic websites if the women did not comply with their demands.
One of the victims claimed she became pregnant as a result of the abuse and was coerced into multiple forced abortions. The accused also allegedly threatened to kill her if she refused to follow their demands. Initially, when the victim approached the police, she claimed that the accused tried to speak in their defense, which prompted her to turn to the media for justice. The police have not yet issued an official statement regarding the matter, and further investigation is ongoing.
