The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) annual conclave Mahanadu concluded on a grand and highly successful note, according to party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. He described the two-day event as a landmark political exercise that exceeded expectations and set new participation records.

Addressing the concluding session, Naidu said the hybrid-format Mahanadu, conducted under challenging conditions, including extreme heat across the state, emerged as an “unexpected record-breaking success.” He termed the event one of the most significant experiments in his political career and credited party workers for its scale and impact.

The Chief Minister praised TDP cadre for their commitment, noting that workers across Andhra Pradesh participated despite temperatures reaching up to 48 degrees Celsius. He said the ability of the party to consistently create and surpass records is a defining feature of the TDP, and extended his appreciation to all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the event.

Naidu also made an emotional appeal, stating that party workers remain the backbone of the organisation across generations. He said many leaders and activists have made personal sacrifices for the party, including financial losses and hardships, while continuing to support the TDP under difficult circumstances. He expressed gratitude to workers for their dedication and loyalty.

Highlighting welfare measures, Naidu stated that the government has already spent ₹160 crore on initiatives for party workers. He added that future plans will focus on improving education, empowerment, and skill development opportunities for their families and children.

Focus on “Swarnandhra Vision 2047”

Naidu reiterated that the “Swarnandhra Vision 2047” is a key long-term roadmap aimed at transforming Andhra Pradesh into a leading state. He said he is working continuously to fulfill the expectations placed on him by party cadre and citizens.

The Chief Minister concluded his address by expressing deep gratitude to the TDP family, stating that he remains indebted to party workers for their unwavering support.

According to party sources, the two-day Mahanadu witnessed participation from 1,875 clusters across Andhra Pradesh, with workers joining from rural regions across the state. Additionally, party members and leaders from 12 countries participated virtually. The event reportedly recorded a total attendance of 16.78 lakh participants, marking a new milestone for the party convention.
