Putin’s Anti-Aging Quest: From Deer Antler Blood Baths to Secret Biotech Research

Today, the average human lifespan is around 50 to 60 years. In earlier times, some people lived up to a hundred years by consuming healthy foods. Even now, many people wish to live long, healthy lives and truly enjoy their time. Russian President Vladimir Putin appears to share the same wish. Reports circulating widely on social media suggest that he is trying to extend his lifespan as much as possible. Putin is currently 73 years old, yet, driven by a desire to live many more years, he is reportedly pursuing not only modern medicine but also several secretive experimental treatments.

To extend his lifespan, Putin is reportedly conducting anti-aging research both directly and indirectly. Through Russia’s Ministry of Health, instructions have been issued to leading research institutions across the country. Massive government funding has been allocated toward biotechnology experiments aimed at halting cellular degeneration and extending lifespan. Russian scientists are conducting research aimed at overcoming aging itself.

Alongside these technological research efforts, reports suggest that Putin is also relying on intense traditional and ancient medicinal practices to extend his life. In particular, he is said to regularly undergo a “blood bath” ritual using extract taken from the velvet antlers of Siberian red deer. This special bath is believed to reduce nerve weakness in the body, improve blood circulation, and extend lifespan. In addition, he reportedly keeps a team of doctors — including endocrinologists and cancer specialists — with him at all times, ensuring that everything from his diet to the medications he takes remains under strict supervision.

However, scientists make clear that no matter how advanced the medical care available to world leaders like Putin may be, extending one’s lifespan beyond a certain limit is simply not possible. Reports indicate that even if all the cells responsible for aging in the human body were removed, the maximum possible human lifespan would still be only 156 years. Research suggests that, at most, a person could live between 146 and 194 years — beyond that, survival is not possible.

Scientists have arrived at this lifespan limit based on cells in the body that cannot regenerate. Organs such as the liver can produce new cells and withstand genetic mutations. However, the heart and brain — the organs that primarily govern human lifespan — cannot generate new cells. Over time, mutations accumulate in these organs, eventually leading to death from old age.

Anti-aging treatments and stem cell therapies currently entering the market can keep the body healthy for a certain period. But beyond that, they stop being effective. Reports state that no matter how powerful a world leader may be, or how many experiments they undertake in the hope of living for centuries, no one can stop the natural decline of heart and brain cells.
