Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan underwent surgery on Saturday evening following health complications that had been troubling him for the past few months. According to party sources, the procedure was carried out on an urgent basis based on medical advice after his condition necessitated immediate intervention.
On Friday morning, while participating in an administrative review meeting at his residence, Pawan Kalyan reportedly experienced sudden health discomfort. Following medical consultation, he cancelled all scheduled official engagements for the day and was shifted to a hospital for further diagnostic evaluation.
At the hospital, doctors conducted preliminary tests along with an MRI scan. After reviewing the reports, the medical team decided to proceed with surgery without delay, which was successfully completed on Saturday evening. Doctors have confirmed that his condition is currently stable and he remains under close observation.
Medical authorities have advised a complete rest period of seven to ten days post-surgery, with full recovery expected to take additional time. They have also recommended long-term dietary and lifestyle precautions. Consequently, Pawan Kalyan is expected to stay away from official and political engagements for the next few days.
