Following the Telugu Desam Party’s (TDP) assumption of power in Andhra Pradesh, Minister Lokesh launched the “Praja Darbar” initiative to address and resolve public grievances. During these sessions, Lokesh meets with citizens at his camp office to listen to their issues and work towards solutions. Recently, however, concerns arose regarding delays and inadequate responses from authorities, prompting an apology from Minister Lokesh.
A recent tweet from a netizen highlighted a specific issue within the Praja Darbar process. The tweet reported that although complaints were acknowledged and messages indicating resolution were sent, no actual solutions were implemented. In response, Minister Lokesh issued an apology and committed to resolving the matter.
The tweet, posted by an individual named Rishik, criticized the process after he received a notification on August 9 stating that his issue was “addressed,” yet no resolution was provided. Rishik tagged Minister Lokesh in his tweet, requesting a more effective resolution.
Minister Lokesh apologized on behalf of the officials and assured that the issue would be addressed promptly. He guaranteed that his team would keep the complainant updated on the progress of the resolution and apologized for any inconvenience caused. The minister’s response has been well-received on social media, with users praising his handling of the situation and commenting that this is how leadership should be exercised.
