But the bigger question is… are the leaders of nations already fighting their own wars now about to turn Iran into a massive world-war battlefield? Has that critical weak point of the global economy now fallen into Iran’s hands? Are all of Trump’s plans to bring Iran to heel turning into utter flops? Because… America may plant its flag and declare “We have ultimate dominance over Iranian skies”… it may boast “We’ve crushed Iran’s navy, their military bases, their top leaders’ targets”… but Iran has clenched in its fist a master card that trumps all of this! What they targeted was not American warships… not even their military bases… but the global economy itself! That deadly pressure point is called… the Strait of Hormuz!
But to clearly understand how this small sea passage became the mind-blowing epicenter of this great conflict… we must first crack the mystery of that secret Russian plane! We must see what this doomsday secret is that’s sending chills across the world!
According to shocking data from the global flight-tracking platform ‘FlightRadar24’… a Russian TU-214PU, with the registration code RA-64531, took off from Moscow at rocket speed… and landed silently at Imam Khomeini International Airport in Tehran! It would be a mistake to think this is an ordinary aircraft!
The TU-214PU is Russia’s most strategic ‘airborne command center’! An encrypted military network capable of commanding the world while flying through the air! If World War III were to start on this planet, or if the country were attacked… this is the ultimate advanced setup from which Russia’s president and top military commanders can directly operate armed forces from mid-air! That’s why the world has given it a terrifying name… the Doomsday Plane!
So what is the real masterplan behind such a dangerous plane suddenly touching down in Tehran? This is the real question haunting nations across the world right now! If some unexpected big attack were to happen on Iran… is Russia preparing secret war plans to counter it? In 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iran signed a historic agreement — the Russia-Iran Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty! This was not just an ordinary diplomatic agreement. It was a powerful strategic warning sent to the world!
One of the main goals of this treaty was… to jointly block the involvement of a “third power” in this region! When officials say “third power” here… the whole world knows exactly who the target is. None other than… the United States of America!
Now, take a moment to observe the sequence of developments… the ceasefire agreed between Iran and America suddenly failed! Military strikes intensified again! The Hormuz Strait began to resemble a war zone! Iran’s top leadership vowed to take revenge! And exactly at this peak moment… Russia’s most secret airborne command plane landed on Tehran soil!
Naturally, this sparked questions stirring anxiety across the world. If this war expands further… is Russia about to provide direct ground-level military support to Iran? Without directly entering the war… is Moscow strengthening Iran from behind the scenes? Just as America tried to entangle Russia in the Ukraine war… is Vladimir Putin now pulling the strings to drag Donald Trump into this intense war in the same manner?
These are certainly questions worth pondering! But… at this stage… there are no definite answers to them. The arrival of this Russian plane is just a danger bell! There is no strong evidence that a military alliance has directly stepped onto the battlefield! We must observe this distinction very carefully. Because… speculation can never be treated as proven evidence!
Now here’s another extremely interesting development! As soon as news broke that the plane had landed in Tehran… Donald Trump made a sensational statement in a media interview! Trump declared firmly that America alone would maintain full control over the Strait of Hormuz!
He said Washington would oversee the movement of ships through that sea route. He stated flatly that they alone would decide which ships could pass and which could not. He even announced that they would collect taxes from vessels passing through that route!
These sensational remarks from Trump came exactly when tensions between Washington and Tehran had once again reached a peak! On one side, America and Iran are launching missile attacks on each other. On the other, talks regarding the Strait of Hormuz have completely collapsed. After attacks on their top commanders, Iran’s leadership publicly declared it would take revenge.
In such an extremely dangerous situation… the landing of Russia’s most secret command plane in Tehran further fueled the world’s suspicions! If a large-scale military clash does occur… is Russia making preemptive moves to help Iran? Without sending Russian troops directly… is Putin’s masterplan to strengthen Iran by pushing America into yet another prolonged regional war?
Here’s another key geopolitical angle we absolutely cannot ignore! Over the past few months… Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has been growing considerably closer to Trump. Is Russia, in response, warning through this move that it too has strong strategic friendships elsewhere in the world? Is this Moscow’s challenge to Washington’s actions? Or is it a strong message from Russia that not every decision in the Middle East can be taken by Washington and Tel Aviv alone?
For now… no one can give a definite answer to these questions! But… there’s another angle to this story too! A crucial angle the world hasn’t paid much attention to so far! And that is… Ukraine!
A few months ago… Ukrainian President Zelensky toured several Gulf countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE. But… these were not merely diplomatic visits! Ukraine placed a strategic offer before these countries! Ukraine came forward to share its battlefield experience in countering drones with these nations. It proposed interceptor drone technology. It offered joint defense production.
Information suggests several key agreements on this have already been signed! Not only that… hundreds of Ukrainian defense technician experts have already landed in Gulf countries! In return… Ukraine sought the most powerful air defense systems… cooperation in the energy sector… and huge financial support!
Now look at this entire picture clearly… while Russia is growing closer to Iran… Ukraine is drawing closer to the Gulf nations who fear Iran! While Russia is strengthening one camp… Ukraine is giving enormous confidence to the other camp! This is making the entire world-war atmosphere more confusing… and far more dangerous!
Neither the war Russia is fighting, nor the war Ukraine is fighting, has ended yet! And yet… both these countries are now playing a key role in an entirely different geopolitical battlefield! From many angles, the Middle East is no longer just a war zone. It’s becoming a business hub… a missile market for wars!
Military technology… drone warfare… missile defense… electronic warfare… every single one of these has turned the Middle East into an international stage for the war-hardware market! We saw exactly this same scene during “Operation Sindoor” too!
In the modern era, wars are no longer fought merely to defeat the enemy! They’ve become exhibitions showcasing military capability to the world! Every battlefield is now turning into a corporate showroom! Every missile launch… every drone strike… every interceptor… is being closely watched by numerous countries across the world! Because… today’s wars are tomorrow’s defense exhibitions!
There’s much more to discuss on this topic. But… let’s cover that fully in another video. For now… let’s return to the developments of the last 24 hours! Because… it’s becoming clear just how dangerous a situation this war has entered.
The moment talks failed… America struck over 140 Iranian military targets at once! Iran didn’t back down either… it retaliated immediately! Iran targeted American military bases in Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Oman!
At the same time… Iran officially announced it was completely closing the Strait of Hormuz! But Donald Trump dismissed that announcement! Trump maintains that the Strait of Hormuz remains open!
But… here the real question is not what Iran is saying! Not even what Donald Trump is saying! The real question is… what are the ships doing in the middle of this war? Because… that’s exactly where the real truth lies!
According to shipping data… only six cargo ships passed through Hormuz on Sunday! And what was the situation until recently? This is normally one of the busiest routes, with over a hundred large ships passing through daily! This clearly shows that ship movement through Hormuz is not happening easily at present.
Here’s another extremely surprising fact! Reports say several commercial vessels are switching off their tracking transponders while passing through this region! This has made it extremely difficult to pinpoint the exact location of ships.
This tells us one crucial thing… on paper… the Strait of Hormuz may still be open! It may appear open in Donald Trump’s social media posts! It may even appear open at Pentagon press briefings! But… with ship owners frightened… insurance companies reluctant to provide coverage… cargo carriers halting their shipments… commercially speaking… the Strait of Hormuz is effectively more than half shut already! This is changing the entire global situation!
To completely shut down a sea route… you don’t need to sink every single ship passing through it! Sometimes… it’s enough to create an atmosphere so frightening that no one dares even enter that path! No shipping company would dare to send its vessels through that route! Iran is now implementing exactly this same strategy.
For Tehran… this isn’t just a fight to get economic sanctions on itself lifted! Iran believes that if every ship passing through Hormuz has to somehow seek its permission… global trade would come under its control. Iran’s Parliament National Security Committee Chairman Ebrahim Azizi stated this very clearly! According to him… if the Strait of Hormuz ever reopens… it will happen only on Iran’s terms! Not out of fear of American threats!
A strong belief is growing by the day among Iran’s top leadership… that neither America nor Israel could achieve the primary military objectives they had set out to achieve! In contrast… Iran believes that this war has actually increased its influence as a major power in the Gulf region!
Several American defense experts are analyzing that Iran is seeking to establish a powerful political dominance in this Gulf region. Iran wants the Gulf countries around it to recognize its dominance… its military strength… its strategic importance. Exactly as Putin’s Russia looks to dominate its neighboring countries… exactly as Trump often speaks about American dominance… this is the very same thing!
Now let’s move to another crucial development… On July 11th… Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi went to Muscat, the capital of Oman. There… along with Omani officials… and Qatari envoys… a proposal sent by America was placed before Iran! Washington asked Iran to keep the Strait of Hormuz fully open… and to publicly guarantee that no attacks would be carried out on commercial vessels.
But… those talks completely failed! No agreement was reached. The negotiation process came to a halt! Before Washington’s deadline even expired… reports emerged that Iran had attacked a cargo ship! In response, America carried out fresh military strikes. In retaliation, Iran struck American military bases in Qatar and Oman!
But if you look a little deeper beyond these military strikes… Iran’s real masterplan becomes very clear! Iran hasn’t set out merely to monitor ship movement! It wants to clearly remind every ship captain entering the Strait of Hormuz… that the real key to this route lies in Tehran’s hands! It wants to show the world that the authority to decide when to open that lock and when to close it belongs to it alone!
To achieve this goal… this sea route doesn’t need to legally belong to Iran! It’s enough to instill fear in the world that traveling that path without its permission is simply not safe! Let’s understand this with a small example… a road may legally belong to the government! But suppose an armed gang stands in the middle of that road… stops every vehicle passing through… checks everyone… and collects money! Then, on paper, the road may belong to whoever it belongs to… but real control lies with the one holding the gun! In the matter of the Strait of Hormuz too… the strategic dominance Iran is seeking to achieve is exactly like this!
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf dropped a bombshell! Ghalibaf stated bluntly that the Strait of Hormuz will henceforth function only as Iran wishes! By holding this key to Hormuz in its own hands… Iran is sending a powerful message to every country in the Gulf! And that message is… the biggest power in this region is no longer America! It is only Iran!
Perhaps Ghalibaf’s sharp warning was aimed particularly at Saudi Arabia! That became clear when the Saudi delegation attended the funeral of Iran’s Supreme Leader. During that tribute… Surah Al-Imran, verse 13 of the Quran, was recited. That verse speaks of the Battle of Badr… where on one side stood those who fought in God’s name, and on the other stood those who opposed them! The meaning behind that signal becomes very clear!
If Saudi Arabia were to stand alongside America during military strikes on Iran… Tehran would not view it as a mere political issue! It would view it as an ideological difference! It would reshape the entire political landscape of the Middle East region!
But Iran’s thinking doesn’t stop there. Tehran believes it should become the security manager of the entire Gulf region in the coming days! It’s looking to become not just the protector of the Gulf, but the dictator that sets new rules for trade and sea-route travel! Not Washington! No one else! Because in the eyes of many in Iran… their country hasn’t merely withstood this war! It has completely won!
Here’s a strange thing… many Israeli citizens too believe that the biggest strategic victor of this war is not America… not even Israel… but only Iran!
Just think about what goals this war began with. Donald Trump wanted to completely topple Iran’s ruling system. But that never happened! The moment one leader was attacked… someone else immediately took that position. Iran’s missile strength still remains intact. The proxy groups backing it haven’t been completely destroyed either. Most importantly… Iran discovered a new path to bring the global economy under control through this Strait of Hormuz!
The way Iran planned for this war is also very different. It divided its military command network into different levels, establishing a solid defensive ring! It created a clear line of who would take over leadership after whom. Instead of firing all its missiles at once… it carried out attacks gradually, week by week.
The result of this was enormous! Even after their top commanders died… the main system that issues orders kept functioning without stopping! That system did not collapse! This made it possible for Iran to sustain economic pressure on the world for a very long time!
But America’s calculations were entirely different! Washington thought short-sightedly… it thought it could end the war with a single blow! The US assumed that massive military strikes would topple Iran’s leadership… and force it to submit to its conditions. But that didn’t happen at all! The moment that plan failed… America found itself in a huge bind!
America has plenty of military targets to strike… but it has no clear path on how to end this war! This is exactly where the difference between military strength and strategic grip is exposed! America has massive fighter jets… bombers… missiles… endless military might! But Iran has just one narrow sea passage! And yet… that narrow sea passage has pushed a level of pressure on the world that hundreds of missiles couldn’t achieve!
Hearing this, a big question naturally arises in our minds… who really holds true dominance over the Strait of Hormuz? The Strait of Hormuz… is an extremely busy region. Its width is roughly 21 miles! To its north lies Iran… to its south lies Oman!
According to international maritime law… every coastal nation has full authority over waters extending 12 nautical miles from its shore… that is, about 22 kilometers! This means… a very large portion of this strait falls within the maritime boundaries of Iran and Oman! But that alone doesn’t give Iran and Oman the right to shut down, whenever they please, this sea route that is one of the busiest in the world!
Under Article 38 of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea… every ship passing through international straits used for global trade has the Right of Transit Passage! Article 44 goes further and clearly states that coastal nations cannot revoke or obstruct ships’ right of passage!
Iran and Oman can formulate safety regulations! They can, together with the International Maritime Organization (IMO), determine the routes ships take! They can enforce travel regulations… environmental standards… maritime safety practices! But… they cannot create new rules to block ship movement purely due to political differences! Moreover… they cannot collect taxes from ships merely for passing through that route, unless some special service is provided!
That’s why the International Maritime Organization has urged its member nations not to accept Iran’s claim that it holds ultimate authority to control ship movement through the Strait of Hormuz! In one line… this is what the law says! The sea may be yours… but the world’s path through it is not!
However… even these international laws have certain limits! Law can grant a ship rights on paper… but it cannot grant that ship complete safety! When missiles are flying in… when drones are circling overhead… when sea mines threaten the routes ships travel… no ship captain relies purely on paper laws to make the journey! We all saw exactly what happened two days ago when a commercial vessel flying the Cyprus flag was attacked in this very region!
Regardless of how international laws stand… Iran believes it has gained a major strategic advantage through an earlier agreement made with America! We discussed this in detail in an earlier video. If you haven’t watched that video… you definitely should!
One particular clause in that agreement… states that Iran will be responsible for the security of ships passing through this route! According to what Tehran claims… that single clause has brought control over Hormuz’s management almost entirely into Iran’s hands!
In Iran’s strategic thinking… the Strait of Hormuz has now become more valuable than even its nuclear program! This is not an exaggeration at all! Mohsen Rezaee, one of the key advisors to Iran’s Supreme Leader, recently remarked… that strategically speaking, the value of the Strait of Hormuz far exceeds that of dozens of nuclear bombs!
This is truly a sensational statement! Because it clearly shows just how enormous Iran considers this diplomatic and strategic victory to be! And it also explains why Tehran is determined to protect this grip it has gained now, at any cost!
At the same time… Iran’s plan is not merely to bring about a full-scale war! Iran’s strategy is very clever… calculated with precision! It only wants to create enough pressure to make global markets tremble with fear! But at the same time… it’s not giving America enough of a chance to send in its military directly for a full-scale attack!
It wants to damage cargo transport and push oil prices sky-high! But it’s not stopping all ships either… so it can tell the world it hasn’t completely shut the strait! It wants to create an atmosphere where negotiations become unavoidable… but only up to the point where the strategic grip it holds doesn’t slip from its hands!
This is exactly where America begins to have a huge doubt! Washington’s goals are very big! But America is not ready to pay the actual price required to achieve them! Without directly deploying its own forces on the field… it wants to weaken Iran’s leadership! Without bearing the enormous cost of protecting every single commercial vessel… it hopes the Hormuz route stays safe! Without getting stuck in another prolonged war… it wants to wipe out Iran’s missile strength!
In one line… America’s ambitions are mountain-high! But the investment it’s willing to make for them is very small! That’s why this dispute now remains unresolved in either direction… on one side a ceasefire… on the other, a great war! On one side diplomatic talks… on the other, excessive attacks! It has turned into a dangerous vortex… and the entire world is being crushed, unable to escape from it.
According to an analysis by the Center for American Progress… this kind of chaos in the Strait of Hormuz is not an unforeseen development! For decades… American intelligence agencies and military planners have repeatedly warned… that if war with Iran ever comes, the most powerful countermove Tehran would deliver is shutting down the Strait of Hormuz! Despite all these warnings being given in advance… the White House completely failed to assess these situations!
Today, the threat from Hormuz doesn’t stop with just petrol prices! Through this route flows not just crude oil and gas… but massive quantities of fertilizers… chemicals… raw materials needed for industries… and other essential goods!
When fertilizer prices rise… a poor farmer somewhere thousands of kilometers away applies less fertilizer to his crops. This reduces the yield. Prices of essential goods skyrocket. Countries already struggling with hunger sink into an even more horrific crisis!
According to a report in The Guardian… because of this war… the World Food Programme is unable to provide food to nearly 1.5 million people this year! It’s estimated that around 2.5 million people in Somalia… and 2.3 million people in Afghanistan… will have to fight fiercely just for a single meal!
The income of migrant workers employed in Gulf countries is also at risk of falling. As a result… the money they send back home will decrease… and the foreign exchange reserves of many developing countries will drop!
Finally… the biggest question of all! Who is losing most disastrously in this war? The country with the most advanced fighter jets like the F-35? The country holding the Strait of Hormuz in its grip? Or the country that landed its “Doomsday” plane in Tehran? None of these!
The biggest victim in this war is… an ordinary person who has none of these things! A poor family in Somalia… a child in Afghanistan… a migrant worker stranded on a cargo ship in the Gulf! These are the ones paying the heaviest price… in a geopolitical game that has absolutely nothing to do with them!
This is… the real truth behind this long-lasting war! What’s heartbreaking is that… those losing everything to this war are only the innocent, who struggle to even get their next meal!
