Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, stated that every challenge and obstacle faced by the group strengthens their resolve. Speaking at the 51st Gems and Jewellery Awards in Rajasthan, Adani emphasized that setbacks only serve to make the group more resilient, and that they are committed to their business with honesty and integrity. He reassured that no challenge will break the group and expressed confidence that, despite future obstacles, they will continue to grow and evolve.

Gautam Adani and his group are facing new allegations from US authorities regarding corruption in electricity projects across India. The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) claims that the Adani Group, along with Azure Power, paid bribes amounting to $256 million to officials in four Indian states to secure favorable electricity deals. The allegations specifically involve a 12 GW solar power agreement with SECI.
Additionally, the SEC has filed charges against Adani, his nephew Sagar Adani, and seven others. Sagar Adani has received a summons from the SEC and has been asked to respond to the charges within 21 days, with a warning that failure to do so may result in a judgment against him.
