The Andhra Pradesh government has good news for the state’s unemployed youth, officially releasing the APPSC Job Calendar 2026 covering the recruitment of 10,060 government posts. Notifications have been issued to fill vacant positions across various government departments in the state, with the entire process planned to be completed in four phases.
In the first phase, notifications have already been issued through the Higher Education Department for the recruitment of 1,523 posts, with the application process now underway. In the second phase, notifications for a total of 3,231 posts will be released on September 15, covering Group-1 posts as well as recruitment for key departments including Police, Forest, and Animal Husbandry.
In the third phase, notifications for 2,311 vacancies will be issued on October 15, covering Group-2 posts along with jobs in the Excise, Engineering, and Electricity departments. In the fourth phase, aimed at further strengthening the education system, a dedicated notification for 2,995 teacher and other education department posts will be released through the DSC on October 15.
Under this job calendar, the posts to be filled through the APPSC Portal include 149 Group-1 posts and 673 Group-2 posts. A total of 2,995 posts, including teacher recruitments, will be released under the Education Department. Alongside these, vacancies will also be filled across the Police, Fire, Prisons, Forest, Animal Husbandry, Excise, Engineering, and Discoms departments.
