Actor and former YSRCP leader Posani Krishna Murali has been granted bail in multiple cases related to his alleged derogatory remarks against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh. Several TDP and Jana Sena leaders had lodged complaints against him at the Adoni police station, alleging that he had made offensive statements against their party leadership.

Following his arrest, Posani filed a petition seeking bail, which was reviewed by the Adoni court. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court granted him conditional bail. He also secured relief in similar cases filed in Narasaraopet and Rajampet. However, in cases registered at Obulavaripalli in Annamayya district, the court had earlier remanded him to judicial custody, leading to his detention at Kurnool Jail.

The Vijayawada Chief Judicial Magistrate Court has also granted bail to Posani. A complaint was previously lodged against him at the Bhavanipuram police station by Jana Sena leader Baditha Shankar. He was presented before the court on a PT warrant and subsequently remanded. With the latest bail order, legal sources indicate that Posani is likely to be released from jail on Wednesday.

Posani was arrested in connection with a complaint filed by Jana Sena leader Renu Varma at Adoni Three Town Police Station on November 14, 2024. The police booked him under BNS Sections 353(1), 353(2), and 353(c). He has been in judicial custody at Kurnool Jail since March 5, 2025.
