Prime Minister Narendra Modi narrowly avoided a major incident when a technical malfunction grounded the plane he was traveling in at Devgarh Airport. The Prime Minister had just completed his election rallies in Jharkhand and was on his way back to Delhi when the issue occurred, causing a delay in his journey.

According to officials, the technical glitch prevented the flight from taking off, and efforts are underway by a technical team to resolve the problem. In the meantime, another aircraft is being dispatched from Delhi to facilitate his return.

BJP workers breathed a sigh of relief after learning that the Prime Minister was unharmed. Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, also in Jharkhand on the same day, faced his own travel disruption. His helicopter was grounded for over an hour due to a delay in obtaining permission from Air Traffic Control. Congress has accused the BJP of interfering with his schedule, causing the setback.

This disruption occurred during the first phase of elections in Jharkhand, which took place on November 13. The second phase of elections is scheduled for November 20, with vote counting for both Jharkhand and Maharashtra set for November 23.
