Srujan Reddy has sent legal notices to former BRS Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), accusing him and other BRS leaders of spreading false allegations of corruption related to the Amrut tenders awarded to his company, Shobha Constructions. The notices were issued in response to claims that the Telangana state government engaged in corrupt practices in awarding the tenders.
Srujan Reddy has accused KTR and BRS leaders of running a defamatory campaign against him without any substantial evidence. He alleged that these actions were aimed at tarnishing his reputation and the credibility of his company, which has been in operation since 2010.
Expressing his displeasure, Srujan Reddy stated that false information about him is being circulated in newspapers and on social media. He demanded immediate removal of the defamatory content from social media platforms and websites. Srujan Reddy has also called on KTR to retract the statements and issue a public apology within 24 hours, warning of legal action if his demands are not met.
Srujan Reddy clarified that Shobha Constructions has been operating since 2010 and has worked as a joint venture with AIR and IHP since 2020. He stated that under the Amrut tenders, the joint venture secured projects worth ₹1,100 crore, with Shobha Constructions holding a 29% stake valued at Rs 321 crore. The notice has created anticipation about KTR’s response to these serious allegations.
