The Supreme Court has expressed serious concerns over Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s comments regarding the bail granted to Kavitha. The court took issue with Revanth’s remarks during today’s hearing of the “cash-for-vote” case, brought to attention by former Minister Jagadish Reddy’s legal team. The Supreme Court criticized how a sitting Chief Minister publicly comments on judicial decisions, underscoring that it will not be influenced by political statements and affirming its dedication to its duties.

Additionally, the Supreme Court reviewed a petition filed by Jagadish Reddy seeking the transfer of the “cash-for-vote” case to Madhya Pradesh. The court has postponed further hearings to Monday. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had recently made significant statements regarding Kavitha’s swift bail in the Delhi liquor scam case, accusing the BRS of transferring its vote bank to the BJP.

Revanth highlighted the contrast between the quick bail for Kavitha, which was granted within five months, and the 16 months it took for Manish Sisodia, who was also arrested in the Delhi liquor scam case, to secure bail. He raised concerns about possible BJP support influencing the expedited bail for Kavitha.
